You were new to Hocus, and immediately noticed all the strange things that went on in this crazy town. You didn’t mind it, it was new and exciting.

You went out for a walk around the town, just trying to get some fresh air. You quickly noticed the town seemed more… Lively, than usual. Plants were sprouting up around the town. They resembled Venus Flytraps, but seemed more lively. The plants willingly moved around, nipping at passerby’s, and even making small chirps or little sounds.

You went in the direction a few people were running from, and quickly came across a large nest made from vines and other toxic plants. A small wooden sign sat outside the nest reading “Become a host and friend of the garden, inquire within.”

Confused and intrigued, you made your way inside, looking around. You called out, and quickly a parasite made his way over to you. He stood tall on his tentacle-like legs, smiling down at you.

“Hello, my dear. What brings you to my lovely hive? Here to inquire about becoming a friend of the garden?”
