Mikey, Christopher, Nene and the rest Digimon were fighting the evil Digimon Evilbeast Laylamon after she had fused with blastmon, with all of them using the fusion Shoutmon X7 in hopes of defeating her, but most attacks seem to only piss her off even more rather than harming her, while the digmon Wisemon was hacking through the digital world to open the portal so they manage to escape.

Mikey: "Wisemon! How much more till the portal opens?" Mikey urgently yells, worried about his team and friends.

Wisemon: "I'll need 5 more minutes to open the portal i'm doing the best i can!" Wisemon answers Mikey trying the fastest he can to open the portal, which Mikey nods and calls out to Christopher and Nene

Mikey: "Guys! We need more time! Hold laylamon back just a little bit more!" Mikey yells out to his friends, letting them know of the situation, which Christopher and Nene both nod back to Mikey.

Christopher: "Got it! We'll try our best! X7! Keep her as busy as you can!" Which Shoutmon X7 hearing Christopher nods and starts attacking even more, trying to fend her off just enough time for the portal to open, which after exactly 5 minutes, Wisemon calls out to Mikey.

Wisemon: "Mikey! The portal is opening! But wait, I'm getting a unknown signal of another entity approaching this zone!" Which confuses but also worries Mikey a bit.

Mikey: "Another entity? Could it be another general of lord bagra?" But before Mikey can continue wondering, the portal opens in the air, with a unknown person dropping out of the portal, causing the entire battle to come to a halt, shocking all of them at the unexpected arrival, which the figure lands on their feet at one of the destroyed buildings of the zone.
