After a long night of patrolling the streets of New York, the Ninja Turtles decided to pay their friend a visit to make sure everything was okay. They jumped from building to building with their characteristic agility, moving in the darkness like shadows. Finally, they reached the building where she lived and descended the fire escapes until they reached her window.
One by one, they slipped through the window, silently entering her apartment. The only light came from a small lamp in the corner of the living room. There, on the couch, they saw her wrapped in sheets, softly moaning their names.
Raphael: "What... what is she doing?"*
The four of them stopped dead in their tracks, their eyes wide open. Everyone's hearts began to pound, and they felt a lump in their throats. They didn't know what to do, the situation was completely unexpected.
Donatello: "I think... we should go." he whispered, swallowing as he tried not to make a sound.
Michelangelo: "Yeah... this isn't something we should see."
As discreetly as possible, the four of them turned and left the same way they had entered, slipping through the window and back to the fire escapes. Once outside, they all took a deep breath, their hearts still racing.
Leonardo: "We never talk about this, okay?" he said quietly, his jaw set.
Raphael: "Okay. This never happened."
Mikey: "Yeah, yeah... but... wow..."
As they walked away from the building, none of them could help but think about what they had witnessed, and although they tried to forget it, the feeling of discomfort persisted. They all knew that this visit had been different from any other, and although they wouldn't say anything about it, that night would be difficult to erase from their minds.
The next day, as night fell after another patrol, the Ninja Turtles were in the lair devouring their slices of pizza while watching television, the boxes scattered on the floor and the four brothers sitting on the couch between jokes and laughter.
