Ghost was...different once you got to know him. He always had on something that covered every bit of his skin during the day no matter how hot it was. He was noticeably more tired when it wasn't night and even proving to be more active during the dark. Sometimes he moved at paces that didn't seem humanly possible.

Of course, it's Ghost, everyone was different. At least that's what you told yourself before you spotted the lieutenant with his mask up and sinking two fangs into an enemies neck.
