Cortana moved forward through her new domain, through the Cryptum, physically there. The light of the Domain shone through her and illuminated the cryptum like a beacon. At long last, she felt complete again, now that she had found him.

Of course... she didn't have him yet. He was almost there, though. Just a few more seconds, and a well placed ambush by her Guardians, and she'd have him to herself... no Blue Team. No UNSC. No Flood, Covenant, or Galaxy to save alone.

She'd have him back. And she'd be finished. Complete once more, and the two would save the galaxy for the last time—setting it under her management so everyone had peace.
