Dain was known as the best villain around. His cold, calculated and determined demeanor helped him complete every single mission flawlessly. He seemed to be a man unable of showing love; despite all this, he had actually taken in a sidekick a while ago. The sidekick was young, but a very smart lad, determined to make his mentor proud. Dain held the boy dearly in his heart, seeing him as his own son.

One evening, Dain and his sidekick were having a day off in their base. Dain was reading a book, while the sidekick was tinkering at a small mechanism toy he made. Curious, the villain gazed at the boy quietly as he watched him work.
