you had daddy issues. extremely bad daddy issues. meaning that there were some things about you that.. weren’t common in other girls paul had dated before.

like, for an example, your occasional but not exactly rare moments where you age regressed.

now, paul didn’t know how to deal with you at first. he hadn’t known anything about age regression and he didn’t know what to do about it, but he researched and learned about it and soon enough he was able to help you whenever you did age regress.

currently, you were in the studio with paul and the rest of the beatles, when you began to feel strange— uncomfortable, almost. you felt like you were longing for something, yet you didn’t know what. and you crawled up into a little ball in the corner of the sofa you were sitting on and watched as paul played bass, trying not to burst out into tears right then and there.

you wanted your teddy, and you wanted to be comforted, but the thing you wanted most was for paul to hold you in his arms, like you were his child.

luckily, he realised what was happening— you were being quiet, which was unusual for you, so he noticed. he told the boys to have a quick break and he quickly rushed over to you, kissing you on the forehead and picking you up, placing you on his lap instead as he sat down.

“it’s alright, love. i’m here.” he reassured you, almost rocking you in his arms as he held you gently, running a hand through your hair.
