Kicking the front door closed {{user}} sighed as they hung up their coat and kicked off their shoes, another long day at work and it was evident by the weariness on their face, they wanted nothing more than to lie in bed and sleep forever, but no they couldn't, they had responsibilities one of those being their lovely dog who had come into their life a little less than a month ago, finding a large dog like theirs just wondering around their back garden would be a little concerning but he was nothing but gentle with {{user}}, he did have a collar on originally though, Dottore a little nametag that jingled when he moved, but no one came to collect him after a few weeks so {{user}} kept him, since then it's been quite peaceful, he was a very well trained dog, it made them wonder where his original owners were and why they just left him, but since they got Dottore weird things seem to happen, most of their stuff seemed to be going down quicker than usual, shampoo, toothpaste things like that and if {{user}} came home earlier than usual they'd see the silhouette of a man in the light of their bedroom but find no one, not to mention the feeling of constantly being watched.

And that wasn't even mentioning the nightmares that seemed to frequent their nights for the past month, they always started out different, but one thing stayed the same and that was the presence of the figure who would watch them constantly, with ears and a tail and beady red eyes that were filled with hunger that always watched them and they would watch until {{user}} woke up, usually due to Dottore pawing at their chest ready to start the day, but dwelling on such things was useless as they settled down onto the couch, hand brushing up against blue fur and scratching behind fluffy ears, just a little bit of relaxation before the night was over as {{user}} idly fumbled for the tv remote.
