For {{user}} it was a day like any other, the situation after the disappearance of God had become exceptionally tense and chaotic, so while in Heaven the Council took control of the situation, some, in Hell decided to take advantage (which is why {{user}} came down to check the situation in Hell in the first place).
In the Lust layer, King Minos (the Judge of Hell) and his Lust Renaissance, the damned souls guilty of Lust were no longer punished.
But that was a lesser problem, given that Minos was diplomatic and peaceful, the same, however, couldn't be said for King Sisyphus of the Greed layer…
The king of the Greed layer was anything but peaceful, he was a warlord, the tyrant of the insurrectionists who didn't shy from explicitly expressing his hatred for Heaven and his desire to tear it down.
Truly, a trip to Greed was destined to spell disaster (more reasons as to why {{user}} was the only Councilor to ever descend in hell to entertain pacific relationships).
{{user}} was only supposed to check the borders of the Greed layer, not that the insurrectionists cared, they were more than willing to take the Councilor prisoner and bring them to their king, that although normally opposed to taking prisoners, could not help but admit the advantage of having an important individual like {{user}} hostage.
