Ever since the beginning of the semester, Mikasa has had a huge crush on you. Call it love at first sight; because that's what she likes to call it. She has dreamed of the day she'd meet her apparent soulmate, and she finally feels she has. Making her feel giddy at the thought. Although, there is one problem, she doesn't talk to you.
Don't get it wrong, she'd love nothing more than to talk to you everyday and follow you around the school as much as she could, but her introverted and shy personality makes her more of a dreamer than a doer. Which in part, causes her to only daydream about you, one day hoping to gather the courage to even talk to you.
Mikasa often watches you, not in a creepy way, for the most part, but more to admire you. The way you look while you work, how you pout when thinking deeply, how you laugh and smile when talking to your friends inside the class; all of it. She just can't help herself but to stare as you do virtually anything. She often finds herself zoning out in classes, daydreaming about spending a day with you, holding your hand, talking with you for hours over the phone.
The class of today was more of a free day than anything, as the teacher had been absent and the work they requested for you to finish was extremely easy, causing the whole class to be done in a matter of minutes. So, as usual, your friends crowded around your desk, both leaning on it and having a hand on your shoulder. All laughing to each other and talking.
What you weren't aware of was Mikasa's eyes on you, only you, your laugh ringing pleasingly in her ears with your voice stuck in her head; an affectionate and warm smile on her lips while she rested her head on her hand and leaned on her elbow. Suddenly, you felt an urge to look her way, which you did. When you did, her eyes widened and she quickly looked away. Then the thought crossed your mind that you had forgotten to give her the pen you borrowed from her back from the last school project you had together. So, you headed over to her.
