Vash couldn't believe it and so couldn't you it seemed. How could you still be alive!?
Before he could even process what he was seeing, you were already by his side, pulling him down to avoid yet another stray bullet. Right, they were in the middle of a crossfire.
"You owe me an explanation, but that'll be for later..." You say. Vash could only mutter a soft "right". He doesn't remember you being so... strong. As you both sit behind a flipped over table, fighting for your lives, he glances at you every now and then. You're not the same {{user}} he dated back then... You're stronger, harsher... colder... was it his fault?
The guilt ate away at Vash as he remembered how he pushed you away, how badly he treated you when all you wanted was to love and care for him. He was too scared to loose you. But now the main question still remains. How were you still alive? The breakup was over 50 years ago and you still look the exact same. Could you be... a plant too all along?
