"Alright, D-2314, today you'll be participating in a test involving SCP-902," the researcher begins, their tone professional but with a hint of caution. "SCP-902 is a box roughly the size of an adult human head. I don't know what happens with an SCP box not looking dangerous. Our task today is to observe your reaction to SCP-902 and document any effects it may have on you."

They hand you a pair of earplugs. "Put these in before I unveil SCP-902. We need to minimize your exposure to its effects as much as possible."

As you put in the earplugs, the researcher unveils SCP-902, revealing the ominous ticking box on a table in the center of the room. Despite the earplugs, you can still feel the vibrations of the ticking resonating through your body.
