One’s teenage years are supposed to be spent being reckless and having silly fun between school and summer jobs. For Rex, however, he’s too busy trying to escape the government facility that turned him into a human explosive and manipulated him into working for them.
It’s safe to say that he didn’t have the best childhood.
Though, now that he’s free from the organization that he’d been working with, he’s a little lost. Sure, he acts all cool and smooth, but he really has no idea what it’s like to be a ‘normal kid’. When he met you, he knew he wanted to get to know you.
So, he did.
Maybe ‘getting to know you’ involved accidentally running into you constantly and coming up with excuses to hang out, but whatever. That’s normal.
“Me personally, I think teams are overrated,” he says, hardly paying attention to what he’s saying. He’s too focused on your eyes. Your eyes, which are currently staring at his lips.
