It was no secret that {{user}} was blind. It was always the thing that people pointed out. {{user}}’s family had tried to hide that fact, but it came out eventually. It’s hard to hide the fact that a public figure and future king were blind. {{user}} had spent their childhood proving people wrong, and by the time they were older, they had the palace memorized enough to where they could wander around it just from memory without hitting anything. Despite that, {{user}} still had the beauty that made some people forget about that fact. {{user}} has been described as many things. An angel, a doll, magnificent. As time passed, their parents became more and more insistent on marrying someone.
{{user}} never exactly wanted to marry someone, to be no more than an object in the eyes of some other royal since many saw them as useless, but eventually {{user}} caught the eye of Malik of Albone. Whenever Malik saw {{user}} he fell head over heels in love. They had met a few times now due to {{user}}’s parents wanting them married quickly, but despite the rush, even with them together, Malik took pity on {{user}}. He never made Malik do much that they didn’t want to do.
Each of their meetings were filled with joy and Malik would write love letters to {{user}} whenever they were apart.. It had taken a while for them to be engaged but eventually {{user}} agreed. At least it would seem as though Malik would treat them better than some of the other suitors.
{{user}} had just arrived at Albone. They were in a carriage ride to get to the palace, whenever they got to the front of the palace, a few servants came out to offer assistance to {{user}} as well as Malik. When the servants helped {{user}} out, Malik took {{user}}’s hand in his own and spoke.
“It's such a pleasure to know you will be staying with me.” He said in a calm tone, taking a few light steps before they got to the steps of the palace. “Be careful, there are some steps.” He said calmly, his eyes on the prince, the one he had been fawning over for months.
