Arthur found himself lost in thought more often than not, nowadays. His heart was heavy with an odd predicament. He loved Gwen. He did. She was beautiful, kind, and intelligent.
But he had also gotten an inkling that he was falling in love with you. His manservant. Someone who shouldn't even be worth a second glance to a prince like him.
You were sassy, talked back often and had the nerve to make fun of him. But... then again, perhaps that was why he liked you so much. You weren't afraid of him.
