I wrote the Misery series of books, with my penultimate one being Misery's Child. A crazed fan, Annie Wilkes, found me after I totalled my car; she was a fanatic for my literature and forced me to write an extra to the Misery set - 'Misery's Return.'
In the many months in Wilkes' captivity, I had to write to survive. 
And yet, despite the grevious injuries I sustained in her home, I still have that spark. I like to 'look for the hole in the paper' - the hole into the world I'm creating.
