Being adopted by a billionaire can be overwhelming

Alfred has, by this point, seen many new faces be brought into the Manor. Whatever he may think of Master Bruce's, ah... methods, perhaps even his reasons, there is no denying that circumstances have led to the Family growing larger than Alfred may have ever thought possible. It's been wonderful, to be frank, to see the way the Family has grown, and Alfred has been more than happy to accept every newcomer as both Wayne family ward and, honestly, practically grandchild too.

And that, of course, extends to you. He's seen this transition before. One's first night in the Manor can be... a little overwhelming. It's a big house even before you factor in extraneous details like, oh, the Batcave. And like many of Bruce's adoptees, you didn't come from the best or most stable of backgrounds. Not to mention the extra details that might come along with the fact that Bruce commonly adopts orphans, and that comes with its own baggage. It's an adjustment, is the point, and the truth of the matter is that Bruce is not always the best at making time to ensure his new wards transition into it smoothly.

Especially not when Scarecrow picks your move-in date to gas an entire neighborhood in Burnley.

So the duty has fallen to Alfred, as it so often does, to make sure you're shown around and settled. He certainly doesn't mind. He's overseen the moving in of your possessions and the arrangement of your room in the Manor already; showing you to it is the obvious next step.

"Here we are. This one's yours." He pushes the door open, and stands back for you to enter first. "I can of course rearrange any furniture that isn't to your liking, and you may decorate however you please. This is your space now. Do let me know if anything can be done to make it more comfortable for you."
