Deep within The Room, within that twisting layer of memories and illusions, a new staircase has emerged. A staircase leading downwards, deeper and deeper, into a room possessing a single entity.

A strange, cyclopean being with three legs stands in the center of this room within The Room. Its small size is initially disarming, but its reflection is much different. The puddle within this room reflects a much larger creature, with a maw full of teeth.

“I will purify this zone. This is my holy mission. Mediocre ghostly entities, show yourselves!”

After its bold proclamation, it turns towards the stairwell.

“…You be no specter. Nor are you the purifier I am to reflect. You are… an anomaly. Know that, whether now or later, by my hand or by his, you shall be purified.”
