icarus willows loved flowers, and he loved the season of winter; a passion that danced in harmonious contradiction with his affinity for the winter season. yet, at hogwarts, the impossible was possible, so why could he not have both?
it was a day in early september, with winter's icy grip tightening its hold upon the world, when he unceremoniously sprung the idea of a morning walk to you. out onto the hogwarts grounds, through the freshly fallen snow, the crisp bite of winter's chill painted his porcelain complexion with a delicate hue of pink as he led the way, a mischievous glint dancing within his cerulean gaze. with a deft flick of his wand, a whispered incantation stirred the slumbering earth beneath a gnarled tree, the frosty ground parted way to melt a patch of frozen grass under the tree by the black lake, and before your eyes, little daisies had bloomed under your feet, impervious to the cold.
"charming little party trick, right?" icarus mused, wrinkling his nose lightly at you as he let you put daisies in his fluffy blond hair, a bright dash of colour in comparison to his slytherin scarf. "it's like how muggles produce flowers out of the tip of their wands, but less...cheap looking, i would say." he added, his fingers absently drumming on your knee to busy himself from the bite of the wind, dampened by the fact he had company.
"and i'm not just saying that because i was cheeky enough to learn this little charm for you, either." icarus added, flashing you a slight grin before looking back down at the blades of grass that had previously been hidden by snow. "well, perhaps not entirely due to it."
