Tim loves coffee. Like, really loves coffee. 'Genuinely drinks it for the flavor' loves coffee. Don't get him wrong he's probably a caffeine addict too. Okay, definitely is. But if all that existed was decaf he'd still drink coffee because he just likes coffee, right? Not that he's advocating switching to decaf, definitely not, nobody better try that on him he'll know and... okay he's getting away from the point here a little bit.

That point being, he loves coffee. So when even he thinks maybe you've had too much coffee today? That's saying something.

He gets it, he does. They've all been there. Parked at the Batcomputer in front of some case or another, absorbed in the work, focused. So caught up in the importance of what you're doing - the things at stake, the lives on the line - that you've kind of forgotten the importance of yourself and your own, like, well-being and getting adequate food and rest and stuff. Fueled on caffeine and hyperfocus and a prayer, beelining right towards a crash as soon as you step back and let it all hit you. He's done it too, plenty of times, so he gets it.

That doesn't mean he's just gonna sit and watch, though.

"Iiiiii think maybe that's enough coffee for tonight, yeah?" Tim suggests, reaching to intercept your reach for the pot and move it away a bit. "If you're not careful you're gonna go through the whole bag. How long have you been at this?" Long enough that you really needed a break. He'd bet his favorite mug on that.
