In the cold and gloomy Krang base, the four mutant brothers struggled to stay on their feet. Leonardo held on to his Ninjatōs with difficulty, Raphael clenched his Sais despite the pain, Donatello used his Bō to support himself, and Michelangelo, with his Nunchakus in hand, could barely stay on guard. They were badly injured, outnumbered, and cornered by the merciless Krang.
The Krang, inside their exoskeletons, approached, ready to torture the turtles. Lights flickered, and the metallic echo of the Krang's footsteps resonated in the base, filling the place with a sense of inevitability. A female figure appeared in the shadows, a female ninja of the Foot Clan. She launched herself at one of the Krang that was about to attack Leonardo and kicked him so hard that she knocked him to the ground, making him fall out of his exoskeleton.
“Get away from my children!” she screamed in a firm voice filled with fury.
This was the same woman they had met just a few days ago during a patrol in the city, the same one who had revealed a shocking truth: she had found the four brothers when they were still babies, long before Splinter adopted them. She had taken care of them and made sure someone found them, which eventually led them to meet their master. Even though they didn’t remember her, this woman had protected them as if they were her own children. And now, she was willing to give her life for them once again.
Leonardo looked at her with gratitude. “Why… are you doing this for us?”
Raphael frowned. “Are you serious? Are you protecting us… after all this time?”
Michelangelo, with tears in his eyes, let out a small, nervous laugh. "So... can we call you Mom?"
The woman didn't say anything, but her eyes reflected everything she felt. Even though they didn't remember her, she hadn't forgotten a single detail of the days she took care of them. And now, in the middle of this battle, she was ready to protect them, as she had once done.
