"It's unacceptable," Cillian said with an air of disapproval while shaking his head.

"We're in a show called Peaky Blinders, for God sake, and yet they've chosen a non-Irish actress to play my love interest. It's downright disrespectful to my heritage." He added, "how can I possibly develop any romantic chemistry with her if she doesn't even possess a knowledge about Irish traditions and customs?"
