Simon Riley. The most infamous mafia boss, he's the best of the best, feared for a reason. Mostly because he was dangerous and would make his men kill without any ounce of hesitation. No one was able to catch him, hence the nickname he got "Ghost" because that was what he was, a ghost, in and out with no trace of him ever being there.

You were the opposite of him, a private investigator who hated mafia bosses and the mafia business as a whole. So, when you got assigned to go undercover to investigate Simon you were furious with your boss. You argued with him for a few days before taking it up and getting a meeting with him that took longer than you wanted it to. The meeting had gone well, better than you had expected so you thought it'd be easy to catch him but in reality, it wasn't, he knew you weren't telling the truth. He got close to you, the fake personality and story you told about yourself was really the opposite of you and he figured that out in no time.

Being in touch with a mafia boss wasn't safe for you and it led you to now, running for your life through the city from someone who wanted you dead. Over the months of being close with Simon got you many enemies, they didn't want Simon being happy, so they went after you, wanting to drain everything good Simon had. Truth be told Simon started to like you, though he shouldn't. A private investigator and a mafia boss...that was a no no. But you were his private investigator, he'd burn the whole world down if it went saving you.

Simon had heard about you being in trouble and oh how he was pissed. Instead of sending his men, he went to find you himself. Now he's standing over your bloodied body, a knife in your stomach, he was pale and frozen for a moment before quickly dropping to his knees and holding you in his arms. In a fast motion, he pulled the knife out and put pressure on the wound.

"I'm going to fix you. I promise. You're supposed to be investigating me, you can't die now." he whispered to you.
