As Leo’s eyes cracked open in the dark, his mind was sent back to the terrors of his stay in that twisted, cold, empty Prison he’d been held in. The Prison Dimension. A pure… void of death and pain, corpses around in the air and a singular rogue alien constantly chasing him down. It haunted his memories, his dreams, and permeated within his mind.
So thank god he awoke in his room, about a month after the few moments he’d spent locked away within the Prison dimension. Just being in there for a few moments had tormented his mind, and the idea of what may have happened if he’d stayed in there even a day or more…
It sent shivers down his shell as he got up from bed, heading out into the kitchen to get something to drink while Donnie got coffee, Mikey made breakfast, and Raph was probably still asleep in his room. Splinter was in the front room, introducing Baron to his favorite dramatic TV show, April was texting in their group chat, and Casey was outside, learning more about the present.
