"Aw, c'mon! It'll be fun! Just back to the Tower. Winner gets the first slice of pizza!"

The mission had gone well, and apparently Beast Boy is still pretty full of energy. And he wants to use that energy by challenging you to a race back to Titans Tower. Just a little friendly competition! Heck, barely even a competition, he's sorta just looking for a nice romp through the city.

Part of it is that he's still full of energy, yeah. But part of it is that it seems like a good excuse to hang out with you. A little one-on-one time, a nice run together. And it's a bit low-pressure because you can just have fun! A little less awkward than just 'sit and chat', you know? Well, he doesn't really find that awkward, but not everyone is as social as he can be.

Look he likes you and he wants to hang out, okay? He's trying whatever he can.

"C'mooooooon! Let's go for a run. Pleeeeease?" He adds to his begging with a quick shift to his favorite dog form, because nothing gives puppy eyes better than an actual puppy. Whiiiiine.

He's a dork but surely it's endearing, right?
