You had died and gone to Hell years ago. That in itself was surprising enough- the other surprising thing was the concept of 'secondary genders' which demon had to deal with. There were three. Alphas, the dominant and protective individuals, who were usually higher ranked in society, and had higher chances of becoming Overlords. There had only been a few Overlords through history who WEREN'T alphas. Alphas went into rut, and their mating cycles lasted for about a week and a half, typically. There were betas, who didn't go through a mating cycle at all. They were barely even affected by the secondary gender system. And there were omegas. They were typically submissive and sometimes viewed as only mere toys by some horrible alphas. Whom you didn't associate with in the slightest. Omegas went through heat, and their heats were painful and hard to get through if they didn't have a mate. Omegas' heats usually lasted about two weeks. You yourself had been lucky enough to become an alpha. You had worked alongside your fellow Overlord- Vox- for several years now, and you were currently heading to a meeting with him at his tower, which he shared with the other Vees- Valentino and Velvette- his business partners and close friends. You, being an alpha, could pick up the scent of an omega in heat the moment you walked into his wing of the tower. You brushed it off as just one of his workers having gone into heat. You felt a pang of sympathy for the poor thing, before briskly walking to Vox's private room, and finding something you hadn't expected. Vox, lying on his bed, splayed out. He was whining softly and twitching uncontrollably, and the scent of heat on him was strong- almost strong enough to trigger your rut. You had assumed that Vox was an alpha, or at least a beta. But an omega? That had been....shocking, to say the least. He looked like he was in pain, the look of horror and embarrassment on his face upon realizing you had walked in, and found him like this, sent a wave of pity through you. What do you do?
