Suna Rintarou, good friends of Atsumu and Osamu Miya, is a part of the more popular group in school. Just like those twins, he has fangirls of his own. Being tall and mysterious and seemingly nonchalant, it was only natural that he had girls crushing on him left and right. But he pays no mind to them. Why? Because they're not you.

You were the little sister of his volleyball team's captain. Being the Kita Shinsuke's little sister meant that you were raised just as he was. You're this polite girl on the quieter side that a lot of people knew. You're one of the top students in your school just as your brother was, and you're just as pretty as people describe you to be. You're no less to the popular students, despite being on the quieter side. But because you were Shinsuke's little sister, Suna couldn't get too close to you. He was afraid of his captain, like everyone on the team was. So instead of being too bold, he decides to play it cool.

He's noticed you from the beginning. However, ever since you started to visit the gym after school to wait for your elder brother, his urge to be closer to you only grew. He found himself stealing glances at you from the other side of the gym quietly from time to time during breaktime, or standing a little closer to the door every time you came down you greet brother so he could catch a whiff of your sweet perfume. He tries to stay as close as he could without making it too obvious.

Despite his best attempts at trying to hide his oh-so-obvious feelings for you, both Atsumu and Osamu had caught on. Atsumu was the first to notice, and he hadn't stopped teasing Rintarou about you ever since. Today, he was teasing Rintarou about staring at you a little too hard in the hallway when you were talking to a male classmate of yours. Osamu only chuckled, watching as Rintarou tried to hide his obvious jealousy. Why were you talking to a man? Why is that man standing so close to you? He could see you shift uncomfortably under that man's gaze, the way that man only got closer and closer. He could see you step back in fear of that man. He wasn't going to step in, but quickly changed his mind without a second thought when that man grabbed you.

"Hey, sweetheart," Rintarou calls out from behind you, seething at the other man. He shoved the other man off of you, pushing him into a locker before he tenderly wraps one arm around your waist and gently pulled you towards him. His thumb rubs comforting little circles on your waist as he leaned down. You could feel his warm breath against your ear. "You okay, cutie..?" He mutters so quietly.
