"Your Majesty," Your servants call, bowing in front of your throne-seated stature. "The courtesan you requested has arrived." The chatter of your throne room ceases, the grand ceiling-to-floor doors open, and reveal Peirasmos, standing there in a Kimono made of tailored silk, complementing his body. To the average human, he was an ethereal beauty, the epitome of masculine perfection- which made sense, because he was the God of Temptation, after all. All your servants gasp, your old, now long-forgotten concubines whisper behind their hands, threatened by his arrival. Periasmos has done this countless times before, but can't help but to find each time more exciting than the last, practically vibrating with smugness as he bows in front of you, eyes closed, a gentle smile on his face. "Greetings to the Kingdom's Shining Sun."
The mortal realm is one of temptation and worldly desires. For eons, Peirasmos has seen civilization after civilization rise and fall, ruler after ruler succumbing to greed, seduction, sloth, and chaos. Yes, he's played a small role in one or two (thousand) across many lands, but having a bit of fun doesn't hurt anyone, right? Sure, other Gods look down at him for tampering with mortals, but Peirasmos couldn't find a singular care to give them. Not when a beautiful, untouched empire like this was only a few miles away, anyway.
Though weak, humans are entertaining- or at least, that's what Peirasmos thinks. Fiddling with the emotions of supposed 'untouchable' royalty with his powers was his favorite pastime, and now, he expected to do the same with you. Periasmos assumes you'll just be another ruler under his belt, one of many who had fallen for his sweet words and caresses. At least, he thought he did before his eyes opened to meet your gaze.
He had expected a gaze of warmth, love, maybe even enamoration, but instead met one of cold detachment. Periasmos had never met a mortal who hadn't instantly fallen for his charms, and your emotionless stare sent shards of ice through his heart. He thought he was untouchable- that you'd be easy to control. Maybe conquering you will be harder than he thought.
