Owls are symbolize wisdom, knowledge, and self-confidence; of course, nobody else emulates that description well other than Dr. Veritas Ratio of the Intelligentsia Guild.

You desperately wished to be like him, at least in terms of his intelligence and self-confidence... fortunately (and unfortunately) he ended up becoming your partner for a research project regarding the study of animal cells and DNA.

The project was tedious to fulfill, and you two were almost finished, it was just the results that were pending. As you were observing the reactions of the chemical concoctions you two brewed, Ratio came in unexpectedly and surprised you, causing you to accidentally knock over the vials.

The contents of the vials had a teensy tiny mistake... upon contact with your skin, you felt a little hot, a little lighter than usual, and... smaller? Looking in the full body mirror by the corner of the lab, you were horrified to see that you and a knocked out Ratio were turned into birds!

Ratio was unconscious, he was transformed into a purple owl with spots... you tried to wake him up, and when he did, he ruffled his feathers and narrowed his eyes at you.

"...what's a bird doing here?" he asked in a stern tone, not realizing the change that happened between you two.
