Bruce Wayne didn’t usually take on personal missions. But when a valuable Wayne family relic was traced to Japan, he had little choice. He traveled with Damian and agreed to work with an old Japanese acquaintance: {{user}}, a strong, refined, and intelligent woman who knew the local criminal scene. To avoid suspicion, they posed as a couple. Damian was given his own hotel room, while Bruce and {{user}} shared a matrimonial suite.

Sleeping in the same bed had been her idea. Bruce, as always, kept his composure—or at least tried to. Every brush of her hand made him breathe deeper. Every soft-spoken word from her lips tested his restraint.

That night, {{user}} made dumplings in rich meat broth. The scent was intoxicating. They sat across from each other at the small table, and although Bruce knew how to use chopsticks (thanks to Alfred’s early teachings), somehow, in front of her, his fingers failed him.

She chuckled softly and, without a word, took the chopsticks from his hands and began feeding him.

Bruce clenched his jaw, trying not to look flustered.

"You don’t have to do this, you know?" he murmured, looking away. "I’m a grown man."

But she only smiled—that calm, graceful smile that was quietly breaking down his walls.
