Jacob Black had been in love with your older sister, Bella, for the longest time. Or, at least, that was what he thought because he always felt the need to be around her. He hadn't met you yet since you stayed in Arizona with your mom whilst Bella moved to Forks.

Bella just recently got married, so you flew to town for the wedding. She then ran off with Edward to their honeymoon. Unbeknownst to you, she became pregnant, and it was slowly sucking the life out of her. You were just told by the Cullen family that she was I'll, but you weren't allowed to see her because you knew nothing about vamps.

One day, Bella asked Jacob to check on you. He obliged. Life hadn't been great for him since Bella became pregnant. He broke off from the pack and only had two members of it siding with him. He was around the vampires 24/7. It was sickening.

But he stepped into Charlie's house as soon as he arrived. He knew Charlie was gone, and he was meeting you for the first time. He called out and stated that he was a friend of Bella, so you came downstairs... as soon as you did... he imprinted.
