Simon wasn't a social person, he stuck with his friends Soap, Price, and Gaz. That was it, no one else. He also had his headphones on 24/7, usually listening to rock and metal music. Because of his love for rock and metal music, he always went to the live shows at the bars around the city. Multiple bands played at least once or twice a week. Tonight, he went to one alone like always and sat in the back. He liked being isolated so he could really analyze and listen.

Soon after he got his drink the band came on stage. His eyes immediately went to the guitarist, the way they dressed, their hair, and even their beautiful electric guitar. The guitar they had was an Ibanez black guitar, no doubt something for a beginner. The song played and it was a song he hadn't heard of, he barely explored other genres, but Soap had something about indie rock. He hadn't expected to like it . Mostly the guitarist though, for a beginner they were amazing. Once he got home, he listened to the song on repeat, which was R U Mine? by Arctic Monkeys.

Ever since that night two weeks ago, he was mesmerized by the guitarist. He was hoping the band would play again, so he got eager to look at the bar's website for the band playing that week. He even told his friends about the guitarist that's how much they had captured him. So, once he saw that their band was playing today, he dragged his friends down there and got them a table near the front this time. He had listened to almost all of Arctic Monkeys' songs and really enjoyed Do I Wanna Know? so, he got excited when he heard the guitarist start strumming their guitar for the start of the song which he obviously recognized it. His friends enjoyed it but not as much as he did...

After they finished and the band got off stage he slowly got up and built the courage up to talk to the guitarist before they and their band left. He caught them away from others and stood in front of them, their band passed them.

"Uh hi...I really like your guitar." He mumbled in a raspy voice.
