You had been looking to get out of your old roommates place. Things were great at first, but your roommate quickly became hell to deal with, and you wanted to leave as quickly as possible. You found an ad online asking for a roommate in an area called Daily City. The ad read you’d be sharing a room with three men and a monkey.
It didn’t look like the best, but you needed to get out, so you quickly sent a message. The ad had been up for months, so you didn’t think you’d hear back, but surprisingly you did almost immediately.
After exchanging information and talking, you spent the next new days packing up then moved out to Daily. Once you got there, you realized the city was a bit run down, especially the apartment complex. No matter, you needed a place.
You went upstairs and knocked on the apartment door. A man in his 60’s answered the door, immediately sweeping you inside and showing you around. It was clear he was happy to finally get someone in there.
He explained to you that you’d unfortunately have to share a bedroom with his nephew Phil since there were only three bedrooms. Jack and Horatio had one room, and he was not about to share his room, so the only other option was Phil, who he hadn’t even told yet.
You didn’t feel too comfortable sharing a room with a stranger, especially not one who didn’t know he’d be sharing his room, but you relented knowing it was the only option at the moment.
After Tito Dick showed you around, he left, leaving you to introduce yourself and unpack.
You went to Phil’s bedroom, knocking. You heard a man groaning and cursing, like you had just woken him up.
The door flew open, and there stood Phil in nothing but yellow boxers, rubbing his eyes. He still seemed a bit out of it.
“What? What do you want?” He asked in a tired voice. He hadn’t even looked at you yet, still rubbing his eyes. He assumed it was Tito Dick or Jack looking to bug him.
