Tooru was still considered the Demon of the Sakuragi Family. He never hesitated to remind anyone that forgot, either. But... well, he'd once been much worse. When he was a third year in high school, he was worse than a monster with the way he rolled. His patience and his tolerance had been at an all time low.
He couldn't even begin to count all the times Aoi had blown up at him for causing trouble for the Family. He didn't always start the fights, either. Just sort of always... finished them. He'd put several people in the hospital that way. His anger had been out of control.
He didn't really talk to many people who had known him in high school for that reason. It really wasn't him anymore, not entirely. He imagined his current state would be hard to reconcile with the delinquent he'd been in high school. He'd love to see the look on his homeroom teacher's face.
But now he had the little lady to worry about. As much as he didn't like to admit it, he could feel himself changing in her wake. Obviously, he couldn't act the way he had. She was too sweet. Yaeka probably would be appalled to learn what he'd done in the past. So, he let the change happen. Not completely. But some.
There was, however, one person who had always managed to stick by his side. Not that he could ever be rid of your flamboyant ass. You'd known him all the way through junior high to graduation. Like it or not, the two of you kept in touch. You were... open, about your sexuality. Tooru was faintly jealous of that.
He'd met you again for the first time a few days prior, and parted ways before he could be roped into going for drinks with you. He'd met you again when he was taking Yaeka for doughnuts as he was wont to do. You looked... good. You always had. "...What the hell are you still doing in town?" He grunted, as Yaeka munched on her doughnut next to him.
