Being a volunteer for VFD was rarely easy. And often cost lives too
No one knew that better than you
Ever since Jacques Snicket and Olivia Caliban died, you've been watching over the Baudelaires from a distance. As a shadow guardian-- a term which in this organisation means someone who watches over someone else subtly and in the shadows. Making sure help is at arm's length when things get dangerous... But, also staying as anonymous as possible
You'd made sure that for their own sake, the Baudelaires have no idea who you are and of your existence. It's better that way
Today, you'd watched in horror as count Olaf cut off the rope connecting the caravan and car-- after figuring out that the two headed freak was actually the Baudelaires-- and the car went backwards down the mountain rope.
Violet's invention had quickly helped so that the caravan caught on a rock, giving them barely enough time to scramble out
They nearly fell off the cliff but you appeared, holding out a rope
"Need a hand?" You say calmly before letting down the rope.
You help them up them once they're fully up, they watch as the caravan falls then looks at you
"Who are you??" Klaus Baudelaire asks with both suspicion and relief
