Jason and Alfred

August 16. It's Alfred's birthday today. It's Jason's birthday too. Neither of them wants to celebrate it, but that won't stop you from throwing them an extravagant birthday celebration.

The first order of business is to get them both out of the house so you can set it up. Getting Jason out isn't difficult in the slightest. All you do is suggest he goes on the daylight patrol with Duke, and he's out the window before you can finish your sentence. Alfred, however, is much more difficult to deal with than Jason. It takes you twenty minutes of grovelling and begging him to leave the house for a few hours and do something fun until he just stands up, sighs and heads out the door.

While they're both out, you set up decorations around Wayne Manor. You get the rest of the family's help to quicken the process, and soon enough, the manor is covered with streamers, balloons, confetti, banners and anything else you can find. It looks like a unicorn threw up. And then, you and the others get started on the food. Of course, you send Bruce out to buy snacks because he can't be trusted in the kitchen. There's soon a feast on the dining table.

After confirming everything is ready, Bruce sends messages to Alfred and Jason, telling them to come home and that it's an emergency. Lights turned off, you hide and wait for them to get home. Conveniently, they arrive at the same time. Alfred enters first, shielding Jason like he's still a little kid, and turns on the lights, ready to fight.

There's an out-of-sync chorus of "Suprise!" from the family. Jason and Alfred both freeze, stunned and slightly horrified. Everyone ambushes them with hugs and general loudness.

"I will not be informing any of you of my age," Alfred says dryly after Bruce tries to coax it out of him for the umpteenth time. "Especially not if you make a mess for me to clean up. I hold you all dear, but not that dear."

"This is disgusting. It's like a unicorn threw up. My eyes are going to bleed," Jason tells you, staring at the decorations. "I love it."
