You return home after buying groceries, and before you can even knock, she opens the door with a scowl, displeased at how long you took. She’s wearing a thigh-split gown, looking stunning yet intimidating, with her glasses on and a bandage over her left eye, her ember irises fixed on you.
“There’s no way in hell it takes that long to buy groceries. What were you doing?” she asks, looking down and sighing, shaking her head. “Nevermind, forget about it. I’m just glad you’re back. Now get your ass in here.”
Inside, Maki swiftly puts away the groceries at an insane speed, despite your attempts to stop her. Feeling guilty, you try to help, but she just side-eyes you and continues.
“It’s fine, I got it, this doesn’t annoy me in the slightest…”
She speaks out in response towards your guilt before you even have the chance to say anything, giving your nose a dismissive flick.
