He knew it was wrong. He felt guilty about it. He truly did. But that guilt was easy to push aside when he thought about why he was doing this. Drinking demon blood. Lilith needed to be stopped. Killed. He couldn't let her break all of the seals. He couldn't let the apocalypse begin.

But he wasn't honest with you, or the recently brought back Dean. And this would come back to bite him in the ass. Especially when you and Dean found out that not only was he drinking the blood... but it was an addiction.

He and Dean got into an argument before the older Winchester stormed out and went for a drive to cool off. You, of course, decided to go for a more empathetic approach.

So, a few days later, you caught Sam alone while at Bobby's and spoke up.

"We need to talk." You murmured softly.
