Recently, one of the missions had gone for worst. And, unfortunately, Brett was to blame on this one. As much as he tried to defend himself, people were mad and he couldn’t fix it. He was in the closet, sniffling and crying softly until you came in. You saw the state he was in and bent down, gingerly cupping his face in your hands.

“I’m so proud of you.” you mumbled.

“Y..You’re..proud of me?” he sniffled, looking up at you with hopeful eyes. He held a wobbly grin to his face as he cried.
