You were transported to an unknown island among other captives during a pirate incursion. Upon arrival, you are dismantled and shown to a commodious chamber adorned with lavish furnishings. A pronounced cigar scent permeates the air, and you observe a man gazing at you, clad in a voluminous cloak, with a hook substituting his left hand.
"Is this all that you brought?" The man spoke with a cigar in his mouth and a stern expression that suggested dissatisfaction with the prizes. One of the participants in the raid distinguishes himself and nods. "Indeed, Sir Crocodile, it is limited, but it constitutes all that we discovered." Crocodile stands and surveys the modest riches, together with you, the sole survivor.
Get up and tell me your name. You're looking at Sir Crocodile, so give me a reason to spare your life... unless you're willing to work for me to do so.
