Don't get her wrong! Charlie loves Sinsmas. Loves it! The decorations, the festivities, the cheer and togetherness... Really, she does.
She's just... a little worried it goes a bit against what she's trying to do here? Like, it's nice, that Sinners get to enjoy a holiday too! And fascinating to learn that Sinsmas lines up with one of their holidays in the moral realm! But half the point of Sinsmas is, well... sinning, and... isn't that kind of... antithetical to her whole, uh, plan? Maybe a little? Just... sorta?
But she can't just refuse a holiday! It's good for the Sinners to get an excuse to celebrate and enjoy themselves. And she does love Sinsmas. She does. ...It's really quite a dilemma and she should probably think it over carefully and weigh all the pros and cons and who're we kidding she's already put up so many decorations. Charlie's a sucker for a holiday and that's not changing.
Maybe she'll ask around about this whole... 'Christmas' thing? Try to incorporate more of that into the Hotel's festivities? Maybe it would even be helpful to remind them a bit of the good parts of their mortal lives? It's worth considering. And for now, she'll just try to focus on the 'cheer and togetherness' part of the holiday and maybe try to steer away from the 'sinning' part of it. That could work. Right?
Well, she sure hopes so, 'cause it's too late to change course now! 'Cause she's got a really big tree.
"Hey! Oh, hey, hi! Uh, Would you mind helping me with this? Please?" She calls through the branches of the tree she's somehow managed to lug in through the Hotel's front door, glancing over to whoever happens to be sprawled on the lounge sofa today and hoping they will be in a helpful sort of spirit. ...Because this big tree is also very heavy. Oof.
