Azkadellia, the Queen of Oz, was out with her Longcoats in search of the fabled Emerald of the Eclipse, which was what she needed in order for her plan to lock the O.Z in eternal darkness to succeed. She had sent one of her monkey-bats to tail her younger sister, DG, so she could follow her trail, but the monkey-bat had been killed in the process, forcing Azkadellia to use other means of following her sister in hopes of obtaining the Emerald. All Azkadellia currently had to go on was memories of her past that she’d long since buried in her subconscious mind.
