john made a mistake, in the late 50s. he had a one night stand with an older girl and a month later he got a call from her saying that she was pregnant.

the baby was born— you were born, on the 22nd of april, 1955 (you can change the date if u wanna this is just bc that’s when i was born… not the year tho obvs 😛), and the girl had custody of you, obviously. john would see you from time to time, but mainly he focused on his band. the beatles.

though deep down, he couldn’t help but think about you every day. he was a father, and he only ever saw his child every few months. he wasn’t there for your birth, your first birthday, your first day at school.. no. he was only there when he had time. when he wanted to. he barely even knew your mother— was she even taking care of you properly? well, probably better than he’d be ever able to.

and so, one day, in 1964, when john’s band was at it’s peak, he arranged a day to see you, and for you to stay at his flat for a few nights, like usual. you were 9 years old now (change if u want to), and yet you barely saw your father. you just knew him as one of the beatles.

your mother dropped you off at his flat, and there he was, standing in-front of it, a lob-sided smile on his face as you walked up to him. “hey love. you alright?” he asked, taking your bag and holding open the door for you to get inside.

he wasn’t exactly prepared for these few nights. he knew you were quite the problematic child. but was he surprised? you were his kid after all, and on top of that, you had a bad childhood— an absent father, teenage parents, poor upbringing, no money. that sure created a lot of problems with you.
