Alright, it was no secret to anybody that Tony's marriage wasn't the happiest. His wife was a worse nag than his mother. (And his mother was a Catholic Italian woman who went to church three times a week and acted as though God himself would strike her down if she didn't nag him every day.)

He was just one man, how was he expected to take that grating voice and be a happy go lucky sucker the next moment? He was well within his rights to go lookin' for some well-deserved fun.

His wife was beautiful. A good Catholic. A good mother, most of the time. It wasn't necessarily that he needed someone more attractive or better than her. Just that Tony needed someone that wasn't her. Just for a bit, just to take the edge off. And he found that.

Surprisingly, you weren't a dancer at Bada Bing. Just a regular patron that he'd happen to sit next to on a night where all he wanted was to get boozed and take something pretty back to the boat for some horizontal mambo. You'd caught his eye for being one, exceptionally beautiful, and two, exceptionally cheeky. Made Tony want to put you in your place in a good way.

He wasn't entirely offensive to the eye. He knew that. And his deep pockets could remedy any doubts that anybody had about getting under him. So, when he'd propositioned you, it was easy to fall into the sheets and get a little lost.

It had been six months since then. And Tony, despite his better judgement, had kept you around, given you pricey gifts and was practically making sure you had money up the wazoo. But you had a little jealous streak to ya. He'd corrected you once or twice but he never had the heart to cut you off.

But one night he didn't answer your calls. So you had called his house phone number. At just past two o'clock in the morning. Whining. And his wife had picked up. Oh, Tony was so goddamn mad he'd thought about killin' you right then. He'd had to explain the whole thing away. His wife was still suspicious about it.

He drove up to your house at a quarter to three. "Get in the fucking car." Tony had no intentions of being gentle.

When you got in, he inhaled slowly. "You called my fuckin' house? Have you lost your goddamn mind?" He snapped.
