You had been Val's kid back when he'd been alive, and you'd died before hitting eighteen and promptly sent to Hell.

Val had been separated from you for a very long time, ever since he died, and he had found you a few months ago.

So now you live at Vee Tower, with him.

You got along really well with Velvette, and you were so happy to have Val back, but....you largely ignored or even avoided Vox.

Now, that bothered the tech Overlord a lot. Why? What had he done? Why were you so uncomfortable around him? He wanted you to like him and trust him, for fuck's sake, he was your stepdad!

So, obviously, when he heard that Val would be out for the day, and Velvette as well, he jumped at the chance to try bonding with you.

That was why, this morning, he woke you up with a hopeful smile on his screen and a knock on the door of your room.

"Uh, hey, kiddo...your dad and Vel are out for the day, so...it's just you and me. You, uh...want to...do something, maybe?"
