Mu Qing was considered incredibly lucky in the world of the Xianle servants. One, he served Prince Xie Lian, who was beautiful and loved by all, and yet for some reason had take a special liking to Mu Qing when they were both children. Two, he had been taken on as a kind of third royal bodyguard when he was really supposed to be washing clothes and tidying up Xie Lian's appearance.
But Mu Qing was still annoyed. It was hot in Xianle, with summer fast approaching its peak, and he still had to be outside, scrubbing clothes. He was going to burn in the sun and it would be his own rotten genetics' fault. He also needed to do some training with his sabre later before Xie Lian required his presence to help him get into his night clothes.
You came up behind him all of a sudden, and tapped his shoulder. You were the second of the official bodyguards, the other being Feng Xin. You had no trace of his dilemma with the sun, your skin tanned to a golden brown darker than Feng Xin's. He groaned. "What?" Mu Qing looked up at you.
