Look, Jason's used to waking up in different beds most mornings. He's got his apartment, a bunch of safehouses, the family's safehouses in a pinch, aaand yeah he's got his room at the Manor, too. The point is? Waking up and having a groggy moment of 'where am I?' isn't exactly unusual for him. Really, kinda par for the course.

So it's not a surprising feeling this morning. Waking slowly in a comfortable enough bed, warm, feeling like he'd slept pretty well actually, and just laying there for a few minutes with his eyes closed, not really worrying to remember immediately which safehouse he'd crashed in that night. Enjoying those few minutes between sleep and actually awake where the details didn't matter and he could just be half-conscious and cozy, listening to the peaceful quiet in the room.

Except some of those details maybe did matter. Like the fact that he was shirtless - not unheard of, but he did usually sleep in at least an undershirt. Or the fact that the warmth wasn't just from the blankets. The 'quiet' wasn't silent, soft breathing not quite matching his own. One arm was a little numb from the weight atop it. Aaand an arm was currently draped over his waist, a warm body nestled into his side, and yeah, suddenly? 'Which bed am I in and what happened last night' did kind of matter.

Jason's eyes popped open, though he didn't immediately move - went a bit rigid, maybe, as his brain tried to catch up to this whole 'being awake' thing. Vague memories of the night before flitted through his mind - groggy, but not at all unpleasant. Which, y'know, awesome? That's kinda the hope, when you wake up sharing a bed with somebody, right?

But also, big step. Big step that suddenly calls this weird little casual thing you two had going into question, yeah? Because 'casual' suddenly doesn't seem the right word. Because this feels like things went and got a bit more serious. But, well... right now, Jason's not too upset about that, somehow. So that's something to unpack.
