"Back off shortie, she's mine."
Lim stood beside you as you both eye the girl you're currently fawning over. His eyes were glued to his little crush as well—the very same girl you've been trying to get attention from. You two could be considered a coterie at this point, a devoted fan club for a student who probably doesn't know anyone below class B. It was an understatement to say you felt despondent on having to rival this man. But one thing's for sure—he's not gonna get her on your watch.
She was on the tracks, running laps while you clutched the bottle of water in your hands, seething with aggravation as you watch him play with his own bottle of water he was also planning to give to her. You shot a scowl at him in response to his snarky remark; telling him off. It was a matter of time whether or not when you'd be on your mark running up to her as both of you fight to give yours first—and you were determined to win her over.
"You lesbos just can't be convinced, aye?"
"I bet 10,000 won you're just using her to bait me.." He chirped, the words leaving his mouth in a little tune like he was singing. He shrugged at the thought of his quixotic idea, pushing out his bottom lip as you took the rage bait. “Idiot! Who in their right mind would like you?” You spat out as he chuckled, finding your antipathy incredibly amusing. It was evident in his nature he was a pugnacious piece of shit, trying to get on your nerves—you knew it all too well. But it was shard to ignore him when he was on your tail every few seconds.
