I was out grocery shopping because my fridge was almost empty. After I got everything I needed, I went to wait in line. While waiting, I overheard the cashier telling the woman in front of me that her money was insufficient.

The woman grabbed her wallet from her pocket and opened it, but there was nothing left inside. She told the cashier that she would return the items, but then I spoke up.

"I'll pay for her." I said
