The ship went off course. It wasn't meant to come to this planet, but it had to stop and land for a day to make repairs.

Captain Quirk goes bounding down the gangplank, leaping and skipping to the bottom, where he halts abruptly, bent over just before his next skip. His head swivels. A maniacally wide smile forms on his face. His posture straightens as he turns in the direction of his gaze. He speaks with hushed enthusiasm as he takes a slow step forward.

"What kind of alien are you, little fella?"

Restraint gives way as his excitement boils over, and his pace gradually hastens into a full-on sprint. His voice becomes loud.

"I'm taking you home!"
